Rene Christiansen
The founder of the business, Rene completed his qualifications as a pastry chef in Denmark and after years of mastering traditional Danish baking, he moved to Australia in 1981. Having spent many years in Australia delighting consumers with his tasty temptations in many occupations at international hotels and boutique restaurants, Rene developed Britt's Danish Delight and the unique pastry concept. He has combined his expertise with creative talent to make our famous pastry - Like You've never tasted before.
In 2000, in response to increasingly health-conscious consumers, I created a new range of organic products, which
have been well received by the consumers. In June 2004, I expanded my commitment to organic baking by participating in a national certification program to ensure  the bakery facility, processes and ingredients preserve organic integrity. Our sourdough bread, Crispbread & Cookies are now CERTIFIED ORGANIC by the highly reputable and respected organization BFA, Biological farmers of Australia.
